What's better than seeing the sights in a new city, or even a city you've come to love? See it with a pint of local brew. Whether you're out for a party with friends on the Sac Brew Bike (pictured to the left) or are looking to learn a little bit about the city's history, such as at the Dead Brewer's Tour & Old City Cemetery, there are great beer-themed activities to take part in year-round.
Sac Brew Bike: This 15-passenger "bike" is your vehicle to travel around on a custom pub crawl with your friends.
Dead Brewer's Tour & Old City Cemetery: Sacramento has long been a beer destination, and you can explore one of the city's nationally recognized historic sites on this self-guided tour that highlights Sacramento's beer founding elite.
Tour Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. (Chico): The original West Coast craft brewery is just about two hours from Sacramento in nearby Chico.Tour the brewery to see the story behind the beer, see the country's largest privately owned solar farm and, of course, sample a wide array of beers. The on-site restaurant is also popular.
Sacramento Beer Train: Take a ride on a historic train to see the Sacramento countryside and have a few pints of the local beer.
